Tokyo 2020: There was pressure on Tajinderpal Singh Toor to come up with a solid throw in his final attempt but the two foul throws ended his chance to bounce back in the shot put qualifying event on Tuesday.
Tajinderpal Singh Toor's Tokyo Olympics campaign started and finished within an hour on Tuesday as he failed to qualify for the men's shot put to add to the Indian contingent's woes on Day 11.
Tajinderpal Singh Toor was placed sixth after the first throw which measured at 19.99m before committing fouls in his next two attempts to finish 13th out of 15 athletes. The top-12 qualify for the main event.

Tajinderpal Singh set a new national record at the Indian Grand Prix 4 in Patiala when he threw 21.49m earlier this year. That throw helped him qualify for the Tokyo Games. But the 26-year-old from Moga was not able to come nowhere near his personal best.
