I am Asha Bineesh, hailing from Kulanada, a remote rural area in Kerala. Tech graduate in the discipline of Computer science Engineering. I am the blissful founder and Managing Director of Competitive Cracker, the well-known award-winning e learning platform for the aspirants who cherish being a part of Government service. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for selecting me for the title “Women Icon powered by Times Women”.

 I started my career as an Analyst programmer, at “Galileo GDS” which provided me ample exposure to the world of technology that nourished the roots of my online career. Being a passionate learner and teacher, I started to study for various competitive exams and developed a great vision in supporting those who aspire for a secured job and work life balance. After quitting my IT job, I started a YouTube channel in 2016 with small education videos which gained great applause from students of all streams especially from homemakers. The appreciation and confidence from the side of students encouraged me to start a coaching center for offline competitive examination coaching in Kakkanad in 2016. The growth of the offline classes was so rapid that it won the heart of a plethora of students. The classes started to flourish with the support of experienced and passionate teachers. It is likely for a human being to face challenges and hurdles in their life especially in their ventures. But for ensuring complete success it is very important that we should change our challenges to opportunities.  It was one of the mendacious acts from one of my then students which made me think about online mode of teaching and recorded class. This occasioned   the birth of online classes of competitive crackers.

The sessions were first started for PSC and K TET (Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test, qualifying state exam for teachers) and gained our reputation for being the pioneer in the field of K TET online coaching. The response was overwhelming which resulted in the association of many experienced teachers in the process. It was a period when the online classes were not accepted by a good majority of the community as Cybercrimes were very popular during the period. The transparency and quality of the classes made many people give a try in which they were so happy that they themselves became the brand ambassadors of classes. In addition to the classes the team ensured complete support in clearing doubts and motivating students which was not at all common for the then online classes. This overwhelming response was the most important pivotal factor that resulted in the association with VIMEO, the video sharing platform. In 2018, Competitive Cracker inaugurated its book stall and studio space at Seaport Airport Road, Kakkanad. Also, offline classes continued with an ample number of students. The year 2018 was very remarkable in the journey of Competitive Cracker because our YouTube channel won a silver play button for crossing 100 K subscribers.

Competitive Cracker marked its success and identity when the results for Secretariat Assistant Exam which was much awaited by many aspirants was declared in May, 2019. We were fortunate to bag many ranks including the 33rd rank by Ms. Krishna who quitted her private sector job for a government job despite the hostilities from many and 264th rank by M. Alija Mannath. This boosted the confidence level of not just candidates but also mentors.  Within a period of three months after our 100K celebration we were fortunate to watch our channel crossing 200 K in 2019.  In the year 2019 team Competitive Cracker started its first interview coaching program with the then qualified High court Assistant candidates. The program was such a grand success that 9 of our students were included in the shortlist. In the same year we started our work for KAS and LP/UP exams which were the next most awaited exams.

In 2019, we conducted awareness programs for K TET students in Malappuram and Calicut district. The period of lock down due to Covid Pandemic was announced in the month of March 2020. Without losing our spirit we started to work as a team changing our home to workstations. The management ensured full salary and support to all the employees despite the pandemic. It was in this period we realized the need of an online application for school students which made us launch our second mobile application CC PLUS. CC plus, an innovative appendage of Competitive Cracker with its distinguished online courses is recognized with a vision to promote every aspirant to achieve their dream of conceptual and integral advancement in this world of knowledge explosion and now it has become the most trusted name in the field of online tuition. The young champions can learn from the best and experienced tutors at our online schooling platform. The classes for online education are designed according to the NCERT curriculum. We are here to provide the young minds the experience of virtual learning with the aid of conservative teaching aids.

Considering the innovativeness and contributions of competitive crackers during the pandemic era in supporting, guiding and motivating aspirants in cherishing their dreams, Competitive cracker was awarded the title of Best e-Learning App by “Yes biz” “Ente samrambham.”. 

CC English Hub is one of the latest appendages of Competitive cracker which was started with a great vision of honing the language skills of little ones as well as elders who have a strong desire to master the language under the guidance of well experienced and passionate teachers. CC English hub also has a well-established YouTube channel to proliferate our vision and mission.

“CC technical exams” is the most recent appendage of Competitive Cracker to motivate and help the aspirants to cherish the aspirants to clear the technical exams. We have recently launched a YouTube channel for the proliferation of the same. 

We bagged the credit of conducting CC Plus MasterMinds, the first All Kerala Online Live Quiz competition for the students through our YouTube channel. This was appreciated as a great feast for the little frustrated minds in this era of pandemic. It was very much exciting to know the growth of our student circle from 58 to more than 50,000. The increase in number of courses led to the inauguration of two studio spaces at Kakkanad and a well-defined studio team including editors and camera crew. On January 13, 2021 we inaugurated our corporate office at Thuthiyoor where a separate workspace was allotted for all departments including HR, Accounts, Faculty, Sales, Marketing, Editing etc. Our organisation grew to the most structured one of its kind. The team strength was increased from 15 to 70+ in this short span of time. The success stories of many UPSC, KAS rank holders were telecasted through our channel which was really inspiring for many students. We were very fortunate to see our dear student Rishi winning third rank in the Deputy Collector exam and Senior Superintendent Gazetted exam of Kerala Government. Now Team competitive Cracker has become a private registered company and our team members are enjoying all the privileges of being a part of it. Also, we got trademark registration for both our logos (Competitive Cracker and CC Plus).

 Competitive Cracker continues its journey of success with a fast-growing YouTube channel subscription of 3,95 ,000 plus subscribers as a parent channel along with four other growing channels, a great student base and diversified coaching programs for the aspirants of all streams of education.

Our highlights include a highly experienced and qualified team of faculty from different parts of Kerala. The courses are completed to the satisfaction of students and well in time. Sufficient time is slotted for making revisions, conducting tests and doubt solving sessions. Regular tests and discussion are practised so as to clarify the doubts of the students. Regular feedback from students is taken to increase their level of satisfaction. We also regularly conduct motivation classes, memory techniques, interview skills and total improvement programs including psychological counselling. The courses are designed in such a way that study materials are sufficient for the students. Special attention given to reasoning, numerical skills, and the English language including spoken English classes.

As the Founder and Managing Director of Competitive Cracker I feel very proud to support more than 70 plus employees. Among them a vast majority is women who have a strong desire to get uplifted to the higher recognition level. I am fortunate and thankful to all the direct and indirect beings of my life for helping me to be what I am now. I am deeply honoured by the prestigious recognition and once again I extend my sincere gratitude and thanks to the esteemed organisation of Women Icon for honouring me with this prestigious title “Women Icon powered by Times Women” which I will relish for a lifetime.
