Overview

Dr. Bawani Nesamany is currently engaged by the European Wellness International Group as the academic board advisor. She looks forward to achieving new horizons in the implementation, designing, developing, and evolution of outcome-based education focused on honing the skills of estheticians, therapists, alternative modalities enthusiasts, physicians, and medical practitioners on the application of regenerative biology in their practice globally. She believes that these initiatives will develop and enhance the treatment and prevention of severe and chronic diseases and disorders. She aims to expand her expertise by training the EW Educator Team worldwide on new regenerative sciences education strategies.

Dr. Bawani Nesamany holds a Medical Degree (M.D.) with Honors, a Master of Education, a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology, and is currently pursuing her third year of a Doctorate in Education. During her undergrad student years, she started her scientific investigations in the areas of psychology, pathological anatomy, and psychiatry. She has won many awards during her student years presenting in various undergrad, paramedical, and postgrad anti-aging and regenerative sciences schools across the country. This added momentum to her interest in academia, which she pursued, and led her to return to her country and serve in the tertiary private education and professional training development spheres nationally.

She is a certified vocational training officer with the National Skills Development Division under the Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia.

She has held the position of Program Leader of the Cambridge International Diploma of Teaching and Learning [CIDTL] for a university in Malaysia and is also a certified Ayurvedic body, scalp, and hair care therapist. She has developed, founded, and endorsed skin, scalp, and hair care products in the Malaysian-Indian market segment. She has served as a local broadcast media spokesperson and brand co-founder. She conducted live training and hands-on product and beauty spa management. She has developed new skin care regimes (non-medical, all natural) for spas, which have rendered crisis outcomes due to poor product use [toxic chemicals incorporated into skin care], breakouts, and toxic hair issues.

After completing her medical school, she entered the health sciences education industry, where she served by presenting lectures to over 1000 students who are now practicing across the country in the paramedical field. She completed her Master of Education with a dissertation on "The Influence of Audio-Visual Tools in Improving Adult Learners’ Learning in Pursuing Paramedical Education." She specialized in higher education teaching and learning [a.k.a. andragogy or metacognitive sciences].

Dr. Bawani Nesamany is passionate about the Millennials, Gen Z, and the Alpha, as she personally sees it as a responsibility to which she could contribute and leave an impact, no matter how small, to propagate real aid to fill the gap that leaves the Millennials, Gen Z, and the Alpha to handle on their own while a larger community judges their shortcomings, although data shows that the situation they are in now was a design or a decision of the previous generations.

Dr. Bawani Nesamany has organized, delivered, and attended to business development for over 1000 underprivileged women across Malaysia on her social mission.

Following her Master's degree, Dr Bawani Nesamany pursued her service in andragogy by attaching to a private higher educational university college in her country.

Since joining the academician training team, she has co-reviewed, reviewed, developed programs, written modules, developed content, facilitated accreditation, and been an invited member of the university's Teaching & Learning Committee in the years she served at the institution.

She has reviewed and developed adult learning assessment across faculties such as engineering, foundation studies, business & marketing, language schools, creative arts, gaming, and computing, as well as international syllabuses and twin evaluations of assessment preparation that serve learners ranging from pre-university, undergrad, and post-grad.

Her recent work in the andragogy arena was dedicated to training academicians teaching in higher education institutions in using Bloom’s taxonomy. She is an ardent believer in Bloom’s Taxonomy and the strength Bloom’s Taxonomy possesses in delivering outcome-based education.

She has written institutional assessment policy and an assessment framework and trained over 400 professional educators in using the framework across different fields of study successfully. Bawani also holds the Program Leader certification for the Cambridge Professional Development Qualification, which trains and pre-assesses educators teaching across various institutions across the country.

Parallel to her andragogy work, she was involved in social entrepreneurship and trained over 1000 women who had different learning needs that varied based on their individual intended learning outcomes.

She has managed several self-sustaining CSR labels that address women's economic challenges, including one of her own under her consultancy, Dima & Banes. She believes strongly in Bringham Young’s quote: "You educate a man; you educate a man.

Dr. Bawani Nesamany has a quote she holds onto: "You educate a woman; you educate a generation." She continues her work in that paradigm. She has founded and co-founded several NGOs in the country that serve the above purpose.

She has also completed the training and is now a certified Train-the-Trainer facilitator certified by the Human Resources Development agency under the Ministry of Human Resources.

Now as we walk into this new decade, she has completed her over a decade-long journey in academic training, higher education training, curriculum development, adult learner training, professional development, and skill evaluation both in education and wellness.

Personal Journey: Bawani Nesamany is the mother of three lovely children, Eshwar Evan, Sydhart Sean, and Jaanvi Demetra, who fuel her dreams and objectives with the support, blessings, and hard work of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nesamany-Amuni, her sisters, Mala Moly Suba and Galyna, and her best friend and husband, Prof. Dr. Dmytro Klokol.
