Karishma Choytun has bagged Exemplary Women Leadership Award

Miss Karishma Choytun Age 29, Barrister-at law (In-House Lawyer/Company Secretary and Data Protection Officer) has actively been involved in social activities in Mauritius from March 2020 up till now (including C0vid-19 Confinement) as follows:

1. Distribution of Living Commodities to the needy across Mauritius;

2. Assisted in Vaccination Campaign by accompanying people with no transport to vaccination spot;

3. Blood Donation involvement;

4. Distribution of pet food to NGOs for stray dogs;

5. Distribution of sanitisers and living commodities to NGOs;

More involvement in social activities include:

1. President of Your Voice Matters First (NGO) and actively involved in assisting people who are unable to voice out(2021);

2. 3 months of involvement during confinement to provide assistance for those having difficulties during the Covid-19 lockdown(2020);

3. Assisted people who lost their jobs due to Covid-19(2020)

4. Providing free workshop-Career Guidance (2020)

5. Volunteering at Nucleus Legal Advice Centre, London providing legal assistance to the needy(2015)

Her contribution has been recognized worldwide and was issued as an official volunteer of the SMM International at the Human Rights Commission, Czech Republic (25/05/2020 – 15/05/2025). She has been the awardee for the Global Extraordinary Women Award (2022). She has been awarded Emerging Influential Women- category Charity, Voluntary and Humanitarian in 2020 and the front liner award of appreciation. She further won the Super Achiever Award- Category Charity, Voluntary and Humanitarian (2021).
