Razana Hassan Didi has bagged Best Teacher of the Year

I am Razana from Maldives, Business Studies Teacher of Nooraanee School the recipient of “Best Teacher of the Year” award on a global level. I started my career as an Administrative Officer in a government school from June 03, 2007 – Jan 18, 2020. Later from Jan 19 2020 till date I am teaching students in a government school with a mission to educate students and utilize my enthusiasm to cultivate quality instruction expected for a child's development without leaving any child behind. The vision I had was to help those intelligent students to nurture necessary skills to be successful in the physical, mental, and social aspects of their lives while showing a path to a brighter future.

After completing my school life, I went to a clinic as an interpreter to get job experience. With my S.S.C & G.C.E O.Level Certificate, I joined Sharafuddin School as my second job as an Administrative Officer. Then I began to gradually grow in my studies. I did many short term courses in different fields (which did help me much) in my career. 

When looking into my education, I completed a Diploma in HR Management offered by MI College, in 2015-2016. I completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at MI College, in 2017 – 2019. Also I had completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at Zikura International College from 01 Jan 2021 - 01 Sep 202. Furthermore I completed my Master in Education at Zikura International College from 01 Jan 2021 - 28 Feb 2022. 

After graduating my Degree course, I changed my job as a Business Studies Teacher where I was able to reach children, develop an attitude where I constantly teach students to succeed in the dynamic environment which we live in today. In addition to teaching, I do voluntarily give services to many other NGOs too. 

I am looking forward to the great experience which will be explored by me as I have been selected by Women Icon powered by Times women and Women Council for the “Best Teacher of the Year” award on a global level. 

Women Icon is doing a great job in recognizing the work done by women especially in our part of the world where women are not always given the recognition they deserve. The trouble your organization has gone to in opening this contest to women from many walks of life is truly an encouragement to me. Please give this event more publicity so that women will be encouraged and motivated. Women Icon is working really hard in perceiving the work done by ladies where women are not consistently given the acknowledgment they merit. The difficulty your association has gone to in opening this challenge to women from many different backgrounds is genuinely a support to me. Please give this event more exposure so that women will be energized and spurred.

Enclosed I would like to say this to all the ladies out there who have dreams but don't know how to make them a reality. Never go out to be liked by everybody since that will make you compromise. Act naturally; you do you. Remain optimistic and strong. You can win this world with your mind and virtue. To prevail throughout everyday life, then, at that point, begin from the will to succeed, that will get you to the correct way of achievement, be arranged all the time! To get accomplishment throughout everyday life, you want to track down something to clutch, something to spur you, something to inspire you. If you can dream it, you can accomplish it.

Late but not least I want to add that it was my family who upheld me on this excursion of teaching. I would like to thank my parents as well as my better half and my beloved children. I wish all the best to the magnificent women who are participating in the Women Icon Awards.
