S.H.Haseena has bagged Outstanding Women Icon Award

First and foremost I take a chance to thank my Almighty for giving me this golden opportunity and making  me reach the height I am today. I am Mrs. Haseena Kaleel, aged 38, wife of Mr. M. S. K. Kaleel Ur-Rahman  and proudly a mom of three kids. I belong to the Muslim community of Colombo, Sri Lanka. I am one of  those lucky ones who came out to show the world what I am capable of. Indeed, this has not been an easy  journey. My mom helped me a lot throughout and even now responsibly taking care of my kids when I am  busy with my schedules.  

My passion to become a makeup artist has been a dream since childhood, as all of you are aware that hard work,  commitment and sacrifice you make at the right time can make you achieve it. My inspiration was none  other than my mom. When I lost my father at the age of 12, she sacrificed her dreams  to make me and my siblings live a life. She was a writer who could not succeed, that very moment  was when I decided one day I want to become a person who should be inspiring others for my work and  as a human I am today. However I too had to pause it at the beginning when my kids were small, but when  they started to grow it was my husband to back me up saying they are grown now and go to pursue my dreams. My husband has always and even now being a backbone in supporting me constantly, he is not  certainly tired, instead motivating me to achieve more and more. I am really lucky to have him with me. 

I started it all over again, I engaged myself in self-learning, self-practicing and I was very keen to keep my  eyes wide open for all new techniques and methods exploring around me. Special thanks and mention  here about Sir Mr. Cyruss Mattew, New Delhi, who was my master. He too had motivated me and my  sincere gratitude to him to teach me all from in and out.  

Al Haseena Bridals & Academy began when the pandemic hit the whole world, I thought rather than just  staying at home to make it more productive, so I started master classes and so on virtually and when the  situation was turning to be better, physical classes too began with safety measures. Al Haseena Bridals  and Academy is a registered institute for Makeup Artistry, Hair Styling and all related to it.  

I am super thrilled and excited when I was informed to be chosen on receiving this recognition, my hard  work paid off. This is a great initiative taken by “Women Icon powered by Times Women” to have chosen  women who work hard and manage to balance all their personal and professional life tasks smoothly  without complicating one another. I was very gratified to have this prestigious award.  

Thanking the entire team of “Women Icon powered by Times Women” for recognizing me, my work and  it is not possible without my family and all who supported and motivated me throughout my journey. This  will definitely not be the end, yet another great start to a great milestone to be achieved. 

Success doesn't just come along, you need to Concentrate, Understand and Practice to make sure the  world knows you. Make your CUP ready to make you shine.
