Asharani Arivalagan has bagged Lifetime Achievement In Healthcare Award
Admin
Overview
First and foremost, I take a chance to thank my parents for making me reach the height I am today. I feel I’m one of the luckiest people who was born on 5th May 1989 to show the world what I’m capable of in something. It has not been an easy journey but I sculpted myself.
I am Asharani Arivalagan, age 33 and single. I belong to the Hindu community of Malaysia where my grandparents originate from India. I’m a Diploma graduate in Medical Imaging from Masterskill University College of Health Sciences, Malaysia in 2011. Presently I’m working as a Diagnostic Radiographer in Hospital Putrajaya, Malaysia. I fully committed and sacrificed myself as a healthcare professional since 2012 once I graduated.
The Radiographer role is very important in the world of healthcare to improve and save patient’s lives. Doctors need accurate radiography tests to ensure diseases are caught in time and patients receive the best treatment possible. Here in Hospital Putrajaya I took high-quality images of the inside of the patient’s body in using leading-edge new technologies in diagnosing patients accurately. These images are used to diagnose and monitor illnesses or injuries, so patients receive the correct treatment.
I am super excited when I was informed to be chosen for this award recognition and feel my hard work paid off. It’s an acknowledgement of a job well done and justification for the exhausting and the hard work that went into winning them. Awards really make me feel good, happy, overwhelmed, and delighted.
This is a great initiative taken by “Women Icon powered by Times Women” to acknowledge as icons the women around the world by their personal and professional triumph that the women hold up as an example to represent something. I’m very gratified to have this prestigious awards that can raise the credibility of my Hospital Putrajaya.
I want to take this moment to extend my sincere thanks to the entire “Women Icon powered by Times Women” team for acknowledgement and recognition of my hard work. I feel very encouraged by this recognition and this award gives me validation and boosts my confidence level for my future potential which is not ending yet.
The moment when I decided to become a person I took a great start in higher education. I’m currently studying for a Bachelor in (Malaysian Allied Health Sciences Academy) MAHSA University, Malaysia. I was very keen and kept my eyes wide open for a Continued Medical Education (CME) course which was organized by Hospital Putrajaya itself and by Malaysian Society of Radiographer (MSR) to learn new techniques and methods for high-quality images.
My great goal is to become a radiologist medical doctor (RMDs) by continuing my higher education and completing my medical PHD to act as a consultant to another doctor who is caring for the patient, or act as the patient's primary doctor in treating a disease. Nevertheless, I can be a specialist in analyzing and reporting to diagnose if the medical images for better treatment are performed correctly.
Make sure you have Strength, Courage, and Confidence with every experience where you really stop to see the fear in your heart to be a successful woman. Gain your SCC to take success along your path.
Thank you and Best Regards,
Ms Asharani Arivalagan.
