S.Priyadharshini has bagged Wonder Women Award

I am S. Priyadharshini and was born into a middle-class family with one younger sister. I am basically an energetic multitasker with positive thoughts and passionate about my career, which is a gift from my mother. My mother is a homemaker and very focused on our future. That same fire thrived in my school days itself, which made me a standout student, a distinct performer in education, and an extraordinary performer in sports also, which led me to get two awards in the title of "Best Student of the Year" in my 8th and 10th grades from the governor and district collector, respectively, which made my parents proud.

After school, I started to support my family with part-time jobs during my college days. And after college, I worked as an engineer in a MNC. But then the situation turned me into a homemaker, and life just moved on as it was for a year. Even though the surroundings were not in my favor, the burning desire to achieve something in life has not stopped in me.

Then I decided to start a home-based terracotta business in my daughter’s name, "Aara’s Terracotta Jewellery," which gained positive feedback from many customers. Then that encouraged me to develop my business further and I started selling it online across India and later exported it to foreign countries like the US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. With the same energy, I then executed my skills and talent in crafts, stitching, costume design, fashion design, and makeup.

I spent more than 4 years training many pupils in crafts and stitching and created a master booklet for crafts and stitching for an easy approach to crafts for my students. I am also an articulate and motivational speaker and have changed the lives of many with my credible speaking and examples from my own life.

In all these sectors, I had received tremendous response and positive feedback from my customers, which motivated me to go to the next level of business, which was one of my dreams that made me never sleep.

Although starting a business is difficult, an entrepreneur must begin somewhere. So, then I launched my dream enterprise, "Aara's Designer Boutique," which houses all women's clothing, fashion designing and modern stitching, terracotta jewelry, and a parlor all under one roof. Then I decided to give a professional approach to my business and joined a fashion design course, acquired extra knowledge in FD, attended a number of fashion shows, and armed everything in my business.

But my greed towards achieving has not stopped and has led me to start a new enterprise, "Aara's Tasty World," within a year of "Aara’s Designer Boutique," which is in a totally different sector and was begun with my own enthusiasm. But while concentrating on all these businesses, I also fulfilled many roles in my daily life as a loving mother, caring wife, responsible daughter-in-law, as well as an entrepreneur, a good trainer, a great teacher, and a motivating friend. Apart from all these roles, my desire to accomplish great things has brought me here to grab many awards.

Currently I am holding 23 awards, including 8 international and 15 national awards, which are listed below. And I was also honored as a chief guest at the National Award Show.

My one thumb rule is "Never ever give up; hard work never fails."
