Dr Yamuna Sundram has bagged Outstanding Research Academic Award

Dr Yamuna Sundram has 10 years’ experience in Biotechnology , Molecular Biology and recently into Clinical Hypnotherapy practices. She was also an affiliate member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnotherapy. She has attended and presented many research papers Internationally and World conferences in UK, China, India and Thailand, She has attended 3rd World congress on Biotechnology, HICC and got her Certificate of Felicitation from OMICS International, USA, 3rd International Conferences on Biotechnology and Food Sciences, ICFBS, Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environment Engineering Society (APCBEES) .

She has been invited as an event speaker for an International Virtual Conference on Microbiology and Infectious disease on sharing her ideas on exploring novel facets and challenges in the field of Microbiology and Infectious disease, She has been invited for another conference for 3rd International Conference on Virtual Pharma 2021 on the topic of Innovative Approaches in Pharmaceutical Science and Novel Drug Delivery System conducted by Impact conferences, USA. She has visited Nanjing (China) for the research of Mycobacterium tuberculosis disease detection using Biochip technology and collected patient data form China Population for the studies during her career as a research scientist at Olipro Biotechnology, Malaysia.

She was an awardee for World recognised awards from one of her publications. In the year 2021 she was awarded a best research paper award and best presenter awards in the International Conferences.
She was an advisor and manage team of researcher for their research project undertaken including professional development and supervised staff and held a lead role in staff development within the Science department (Molecular research) during her career at Olipro Biotechnology, she travelled to China to study and collected data from the China population who has contacted with Mycobacterium tuberculosis via the patients blood sample and tested with the biochip to be able to find  a new way of detecting the disease using the Novel facet technology called as ‘Biochip; which is a small device capable of performing rapid small-scale biochemical reactions for the purpose of identifying gene sequences, environmental pollutants, airborne toxins or any other biochemical constituents.
Her message to the Women out there, she uses this principle "Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life--think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success and do not give up!".
While She was being an educator at Mahsa  and few other International based education firm she has learned to adopt many techniques that could help the students in achieving a greater success in their career, she has also attended many educational based conferences, training, technological based approached to enhance practical skills by attending courses organised by University of London, Bloomsbury learning exchange, attended professional development webinar series for ASEAN teachers via upskill with Australian institution in Collaboration  with  the University of Queensland, University of Sydney , The University of Western Australia, Phoenix Academy and Monash University, participated in STEM education by GIZMOS, She has completed transformational leadership trainings course arrange by Oxford University, UK professional development.
Education has changed dramatically with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching in undertaken remotely and on digital platforms, She believed that the integration of information technology in education will  be further accelerated and that online education will eventually become an integral component of school education by using wide range of collaboration tools, engagement methods that promotes inclusion, personalisation and intelligence and enables the learners to study or teachers to teach from anywhere in the world.

In advance to it, this allows her in progressing further to be the Founder of Asia Online tutor by creating a free platform for the tutors all around Asia to register for free without any charges in order for them to provide their expertise to the students or parents request during this pandemic and her future goal is to open a Virtual Education Academy towards this shift of paradigm.

Sometimes the inspiration you need to achieve your dreams can be found in a few simple words of wisdom. She is very proud on winning the title of ‘Outstanding Research Academic Award’ from Women Icon powered by World Women Council and affiliated with Times Women. The Women Icon Awards is a prestigious honour given to women who have made significant contributions to society, she thanks to the Women icon for selecting her as one of the winners. She will never stop exploring and will always continue to contribute to the nations.

Her message to all the WOMEN ‘Today If anything is trying to hold you back, give no attention to it, get your hopes, get your faith up, look up and get ready to rise up, persevere like a seed, even when people try to bury you from flourishing and always ask yourself if what you are doing today is getting yourself to where you want to be Tomorrow.
