I'm Dinuki Wijesinghe. I'm studying at Musaeus College. I started my working career in 2006. I have not decided to select my career path in the insurance industry. My first job started as an insurance assistant at Lanka Orix Insurance Brokers in 2006. I have the opportunity to learn a lot of new things in the friendly working environment of Lanka Orix Insurance Brokers.

At that time, I was a beginner in the insurance industry, and I liked getting that opportunity because, working under a broker, I could get knowledge of all classes of insurance under one roof.

In 2007, my career changed, and I joined HNB ASSURANCE as an insurance office servicing insurance brokers and travel agents. From time to time, I got the opportunity to work at Union Assurance as an Assistant Manager - Broker Servicing. Peoples Insurance - Manager - Broker Servicing, Alliance Insurance Lanka - Senior Manager - Broker Servicing, Orient Insurance Ltd - Senior Manager -Broker Servicing.

My family background, My mother, Chandara Wijesinghe, passed away in 2017, and my father, Vinya Wijesinghe, worked in the private sector as a general manager, but now he's retired.

I have a sister, Prasani Wijesinghe. She is married to Maduhara Mendis, and she is working at SoftLogic Life as an assistant manager in the category.

I'm married to Saminda Colombage. He also has almost 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. 

In March 2022, my and my husband's dreams came true. Finally, we can manage to open our own insurance brokerage firm, Pflege Insurance Brokers and Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. Now I'm working at my company as the head of sales, and we have another 2 employees with us.

Looking back on my career, I am really happy with my success.
