Overview
I started a career in the health
field in 1999. Just after high school, I became a laboratory technician trainee
at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
I did my diploma in Medical
Laboratory Technology in Vellore, India.
Later in the year of 2010, I completed
my bachelor's degree in Mysore, India, which is in Biochemistry, Microbiology,
and Biotechnology.
After earning my bachelor's degree, I
changed from IGMH to Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital as a Medical Laboratory
Technician.
Kulhudhuffiushi Regional Hospital is
the northern healthcare hub that caters to the needs of Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu,
and Shaviyani atolls. with approximately 72,000 residents relying on us.
In 2012, I became head of the
diagnostic department. It is a managerial role in the laboratory, radiology,
and therapeutic areas. Since January 2019, I have managed the diagnostic
department. I implemented most of the Standard Operation Protocols in my tenure
as HOD of the Diagnostic Department. In the year 2017, I achieved my master's
degree in business and administration. It helps a lot with managing
administratively.
In 2019, I became the acting head of
the institution at Kulhudhuffiushi Regional Hospital.
I got my present designation,
"Deputy Director General," in November 2020.
We, as a hospital, along with 12
health centers, strive to serve the community by ensuring its health and
well-being with highly competent employees who are devoted and accountable in
clinical practice and who are supported by education, research, and
technologies.
