Overview

Rana has 16 years of experience in the banking industry. She joined & specialized in Treasury and Capital Markets Group 14 years ago. She achieved CTP-Certificate Treasury Professional in 2020. Now, she is one of the restructuring team at Banque du Caire.

She has been the Head of Treasury Sales since NOV. 2018. At the Treasury, she is responsible for all issues relating to growth, productivity, infrastructure, financial services and financial stability. Rana is also a member of The Financial Market Association – ACI since 2009.

Before she joined the Treasury in 2009, Rana spent 2 years at Arab International Bank – in customer service department, where her focus was clients in the financial services sector. She professionalizes in retail banking, corporate and investment banking, insurance and asset management.

Rana held a number of leadership positions at several banks and companies.

Rana was educated at Misr University for Science and Technology, where she studied Mass Communication. She has accomplished and attended several programs related to the leadership skills. Since the beginning of 2022, she started to focus on the Arab women sustainable development. She earned the Arab Women’s Leaders Internationally and Regionally diploma from the AFRO – Asian Foundation of International Law and dispute resolution with coordination with AAU – African Center for Strategic Studies, Feb. 2022.
