I am honoured and humbled to be recognized as the Outstanding Creative Entrepreneur of the Year at the Women Icon Awards. This award is especially meaningful to me as a woman in the gem and jewellery industry, where women are still underrepresented, and it is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity put in by my team and myself.

I have always been passionate about jewellery design and the art of creating timeless pieces that make people feel special. My journey in the jewellery industry started in 2020 when I founded Rosche World Pvt Ltd, which specializes in creating and designing exquisite jewellery for clients in the USA and Australia. Despite starting during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been able to establish ourselves as a successful and growing business, thanks to the commitment and hard work of our team.

Our mission has always been to create high-quality jewellery that not only meets but exceeds our clients' expectations. We take great pride in being the exclusive designer and manufacturer for the largest memorial jewellery distributor in the USA and Australia. We work relentlessly to offer the highest level of craftsmanship and customer service that we can provide.

Despite the challenges that the pandemic brought, we continued our operations and exports from Sri Lanka and China without any pay cuts or losses for our employees. We understand that our team is the backbone of our business, and we have made it our priority to ensure their well-being and security. This is something I am very proud and passionate about, because I believe that businesses are about people, and if we look after our people, we can provide them with the space and freedom to grow, innovate and create. In 2022, we launched two registered jewellery brands, Everessence and Everessence Memorial, under Everessence (Private) Limited; a Sri-Lanka-based company that offers a wide selection of gemstone jewellery in various designs, in gold and sterling silver. Our brand, Everessence, is known for its artisanal jewellery design and manufacture, along with a reputation as a highly respected gemstone dealer.

Everessence Memorial, on the other hand, focuses on the international wholesale market for memorial jewellery, with specialized designs that are marketed under our brand. We take great care in providing our clients with meaningful and beautiful jewellery that celebrates their loved ones.

As we have grown, we have also set up national offices in the USA, Australia, United Kingdom, UAE, and India, with managing partners to ensure smooth operations in those respective countries. Our goal is to expand our reach and bring our designs to more people around the world.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank the Women Icon Awards for recognizing our work and achievements. This award is not only a recognition of my work but also a recognition of the contribution that women are making in the world of entrepreneurship. I am grateful for the opportunity to showcase the strength, resilience, and creativity of women in business.
