Hello Everyone.

I am Jyotee RAMSURRUN-SHEORAJ from the Republic of Mauritius. Born & raised in this touristic Island, I serve my country as a French Educator. After graduating in French in 2001 I have taught this language in private as well as State Secondary Schools for 2 decades now. I teach at Sir Leckraz Teelock State Secondary School where my strong penchant for technology was born. I started as a novice and very fast I have started making use of technology while conducting my lessons and projectors, tablets & laptops have become an integral part of my classroom.

I had the chance to represent my country at the Global Educator Exchange Programme, in Toronto in 2017 where I bagged the designation “Microsoft Certified Educator” besides winning an award for Gamification of Learning. For 3 consecutive years I have stayed a Microsoft Innovative Expert Educator (2017, 2018, 2019) and following my contribution on the Microsoft Educator Community, the title of Microsoft Educator Fellow was given to me. I happen to be a resource person for Cambridge International Examinations and DELF Examinations. I have deep knowledge of MS Tools and MTeams and these help me in making the challenging tasks of educators easier than ever: Automated Mark-list, Automated Lesson Planner, Digitalised Weekly Planner and the likes.

I am always on the look-out for teaching French using Gamification. Such a strategy, I have observed, helps engage the learners making learning fun as well as enthusiastic.
