Panikar Prekerthi has bagged Promoting Women in STEM in Higher Education

Prekerthi currently leads the team assisting with student engagement and outreach, launch of Entrepreneurship campaigns such as ' Entrepreneurship Fair’ at the College which   is speci?cally aimed to provide a platform for students’ business initiative whist providing networking opportunities with business groups. Working on sustainability issues with further and higher education, Prekerthi has delivered numerous projects on sustainability leadership, CSR and promoting positive behaviour. She is currently involved in the development of an innovative approach to corporate responsibility at the institution working towards a vision of proving the University’s Entrepreneurial vision.

Prekerthi’s areas of interest are student engagement, participation and transformation through community outreach and encouraging graduate students’ entrepreneurial ventures. She is actively involved in collaborative projects in Entrepreneurship initiative in Oman and is currently completing her Doctorate in Entrepreneurship Education from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK.

Her Training and development expertise are in Lean Six Sigma and Competency based Management System and holds a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
