I am grateful to receive this award “Woman’s Most respected Early Childhood Education Brand Award”. Thank you for the recognition.

I am Peramalata Arumugam from Penang, Malaysia. I am an Edupreneur. I invested as a franchisee in a worlwide franchise preschool business Smart Reader Kids in 2019 and owned a private Cambridge Homeschool.

I completed my Diploma in Education and Teachers Training in 2001 at Maktab Perguruan Pulau Pinang. Following on this, I completed a Master in Education at Open University Malaysia. Currently pursuing EdD, Doctor of Education majoring in Instructional Technology at Open University Malaysia. All in all, I had 16 years of experience in the education line.

My goal in life is to be a role model for my kid, not only by being a successful edupreneur but also a respected human being with positive attitudes. As a lifelong learner, I hope to gain more knowledge and contributes to the education field in Malaysia.

I am extremely proud to receive the No 1 Women Leadership Excellence Awards by Women Icon Award entitled “Woman’s Most respected Early Childhood Education Brand Award” for the category of Woman’s Preschool Awards.

With this achievement I am sure to bring pride not only to myself but also to my entire profession. The encouragement by Times Women to all women is highly appreciated.
