Jewel Avenue is owned by Hasna Cader, the great granddaughter of Mohammed Usuff Mohammed Salie, the fourth generation to carry out the traditions of the family business. Among many precious things in life Jewels for us stand right at the pinnacle. In our Arena of Jewels we developed a simple concept and looked at it from an even simpler perspective and drew up an extremely simple thought process. What makes a piece of Jewellery so wonderful is the fact that one is able to weigh in, not only the market value  of the piece of Jewellery but also the effort that went into creating the work of art that  makes it so unique. For us at Jewel Arena, your mind's eye on our works of art is the  most important aspect of our creation process. 

A family with a strong history in gems and jewellery across the globe, her passion turned to reality is the result of her owning the company and honoring the family lineage. With experience in exporting gems to China, she has followed his footsteps in dealing with the orient and beyond. The values of honest dealings and sourcing the highest quality of gems has been handed down from generation to generation and can be seen first-hand in her designed products.

Mother to three beautiful daughters, she is the embodiment of an empowered woman. She has encouraged women to fulfil their dreams no matter how difficult the course, to achieve nine goals. Emulating her great grand-father in charity she has dedicated a percentage of her earnings to needy women and families to help them come  up in their byes. The beauty of Sri Lanka, the pearl of the Indian Ocean, is  not found only in nature but also in the numerous mined hues. Our beautiful  Island has yielded gemstones with varying Slim precious stones, which to this day adorn some of the pieces worn by royalty and aristocracy.

Hasna has been awarded on multiple occasions both overseas as well in Sri Lanka for her excellence in the Gem and Jewellery industry which have given her great success and also made her the person who she is today. Currently she is partnering the Largest Online collection of jewellery in the whole of South Asia Oz gems and Jewellery as well. 

She is also in the board of directors for a couple of high network companies such  as Orange sewing solutions (PVT) Ltd, AVA jewelers One Galle Face branch. And also join venture with Chinese Company in Shanghai international brand jewelry center outlet. The current business location of Jewel  Avenue is No.324, 9/6 Melford Tower,  Havelock City, Havelock Road,  Colombo 00500 which is open daily from 08.00am to 06.00pm for business  for both locals and foreign visitors. Her extrema capability customer service and  after sales assistance has made the business bloom within a very short  period of time.
