In 2021, Vanitha took
leave of her agency life, and joined PHP Ventures Acquisition Corp. as their Chief Strategist Officer.
Here she was put in charge of working with the executive team in developing
corporate strategy and implementation plans for consideration by the Board of
Directors. Her ability, insights and focus on formulating policies and brand
plans made her a critical member of the PHP team which saw the company listed on the Nasdaq Capital
Market in August 2011, just short of 6 months after she came onboard.
Today, she is back in her agency life that she belongs to,
working up brand plans in areas of advertising and social media outreach, for
clients like Astro Malaysia, PayNet and Sunsilk Malaysia.
Even after over 30
years of working experience across the hospitality, events and integrated
communications fields, and the many roadblocks in life she had to endure, she
would still be found smiling doing what she does best at work, or at home with
her loved ones. A widowed, single mom today, she cites her teenage son and her
late father, former notable cricket coach, MF Thevaratnam, as her biggest
inspirations for love, life and who she is today.
