Previous to my work at Ceridian, I worked as an educator for nearly 8 years in different educational institutions in Mauritius. My passion for the education field has always been there since I started my career. Being with students and shaping their educational career and transforming their life, is in itself a holistic endeavour which I hold very truly to. Avid about academic research, I am constantly involved in writing research papers with focus areas on Educational Technologies and Emerging Technologies such as AI, Big Data Analytics and Blockchain.

I was also lately part of the panel member speaker for the Conference of Les Assises de l’innovation et de la recherches, Rogers Capital Digital Innovation Event in collaboration with The Mauritius Institute of Directors, was also in the panel for Project Innovation at the Mauritius Research council.  I am constantly updating myself and have recently completed the certificate in Disrupting the Financial Landscape by Cambridge Business School and recently awarded the Certificate in Higher Education by Harvard Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning.

Holder of a BSC in Computer science from Bangalore university, MSC in Information Systems from university of Wales and an MBA from Open University of Mauritius with distinction and with over 18 years of experience in IT and Educational sector, I currently lead the Department of IT and Emerging Technologies at Polytechnics Mauritius. My role at the senior management level academic is more focus on strategic planning and management, fostering the development of student lifelong learning and holistic approach to education in the IT sector looking at new ventures and bringing forth new programmes for the department.

My drive and enthusiasm for learning constantly and being engaged in the education of the young minds will still remain an important element.
