I'm here to share a few details about me. My name is Mujeeb Fathima Ijaza, Henna Artist. Currently running a business named Henna By Ijaza based in Kalpitiya, North Western Province, Sri Lanka. I completed my high school in Al-Aqsa national school kalpitiya. I enjoyed being the leader of the house at the school sports meet.

I engaged in several events such as Throwbal, Volleyball and Running events. I also gudied the march past team in my house with confidence and achieved 1st place for march past with excellent leadership.

Being very passionate about henna and art. Step by step I started studying about Henna Designing, by the guidance of my elder brother I achieved what I wanted. I Completed Diploma in Henna Artistry at Marudhani By Lady Life, Colombo and I worked as a freelance henna artist for few years. I practiced many designs and I gained hands on  experience.

To increase my educational knowledge I completed many more Diploma's such as, Diploma in English from Amazon College Colombo Sri lanka, Diploma in English from Oxford College Gampaha Sri Lanka, Diploma in Sinhala at Oxford College Gampaha Sri Lanka, Beautician certificate course from Chennai India and Human Resource Management Advanced certificate from the Open University of Sri Lanka. I'm always ready to learn more and more. Gaining knowledge in different fields is always in my interest. 

Speaking about my business. I am the sole founder of Henna By Ijaza in Kalpitiya North Western Province, Sri Lanka. The business started on January 2023. I added social media advertising to my business using Facebook and Instagram platforms, I had an amazing reach from these platforms. This helped me to gain more and more customers for bridal mehandi and guest mehandi.

I received many positive reviews from clients. I always focus on giving the best of my work to my customers I always do my work with best of satisfaction because customer satisfaction is what drives the business to a higher place. My business also provides courses on Mehandi Artistry and I also sell natural Henna cones made by myself. I also sell Mehandi accessories.

I received " best mehandi artist of the year 2023" award By AS learning academy, Sri Lanka and "best mehandi artist of the year 2024" award by NR Bridals, Sri Lanka.

Lastly, I would like to thank Women Icon powered by times women for giving me this wonderful opportunity and recognising me as the best entrepreneur of the year award. I would also like to thank my parents and brothers for supporting me throughout the journey to women icon to recieve this prestigious award.
