A young passionate lady doctor focusing on primary healthcare industries and servicing the community with right charity by providing healthcare services and education needs for community. 

Education

Born and brought up in outskirt area in Hutan Melintang, Perak from a small unprivileged family of four siblings with the guidance from parents and financial support from the siblings has focused on becoming a doctor from childhood.

Chinese and multi-language educated during the primary school and have taken up special interest in Science and Mathematics during secondary school has been a major contribution to become a doctor. Being the youngest in the family, everything is not an easy task but family was providing full support to achieve the dream.

Started her medicine school journey in year 2006 and completed it in year 2011 with  flying colours .

Working Experience

Started career in year 2011 as A Resident doctor in Emergency Department ( United Kingdom) and back to Malaysia  after a year to continue her services as a doctor and passionate about serving the right primary care to Malaysian Community at various Hospitals In Malaysia.

After a long journey, taken a step into Private Medical Centre in year 2014 to gain knowledge in Emergency Department at famous Private Medical Centre for almost 5 years and ended up gaining the best knowledge and skills in healthcare industry.

Being a senior and young lady doctor, has put Dr.Selvi to a challenge to step out to business industry for her to take up business roles and Managing Director of the Malaya Group. Upon 4 years in the field after struggling and many difficulty paths, today Dr.Selvi known for her skills and experience with good service to the patients with care and cure. Ultimately Dr Selvi is being supportive by another Managing Partner, Mr Kumaran (Husband) in the business sector. Today in “MALAYA GROUP” have Management Team and Staff that are support each other for the successful of their established businesses. ‘We always care and support our staff as they are our back-end support’.

Not limited on the health industry, Dr Selvi been giving back to community and engaging social services to the needy freely especially to the students & rural area community.Media are putting remarkable announcement on newspapers for the contribution to community, truly honoured for this. 

Dr.Selvi received National level Iconic Women Award 2024 in view of her outstanding Community Services in Healthcare.

What Dr Selvi says about receiving the ‘Outstanding Young Entrepreneur’

Receiving the “OUTSTANDING YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR AWARD” has been inspiring me to do more for my Malaysian community, to serve better in healthcare and provide free healthcare social service. Will continue to serve in medical camps and provide best service to students and community.
