I am Sara Haany Nawfal, an astonishingly talented child  from Sri Lanka. I am three years old. My mother tongue is Tamil and I am. Able to speak in English.I am the daughter of Nawfal Haseem and Shifna Haris. I am very much honored and excited to have received the award title “YOUNG LIFETIME ACHIEVER AWARD '' in the Junior section by “WOMEN ICON POWERED BY TIMES WOMEN '' on a global level. This is an encouragement for me to achieve more and more in my life and I hope that I can continue my journey with more potential and courage. My dream is to make my nation proud by showing my skills to the World. My ambition is to become an Astronaut in NASA and I’d strive to achieve the place that I dream of.  Is Sara Haany  an astonishingly talented child? Every one of Sara Haany’s actions and Skills of Sara Haany from eight months onwards was surprising for her mother Shifna Haris.  She gave her many tasks just to test her abilities and develop them further. When Sara was barely 7 months old she started toddling up and down the stairs without the support of anyone.

Sara Haany was special in every way. It was clearly perceptible.  When she was only eighteen months old she was able to remember the names of more than 150 leaders of countries and various other facts. She plainly identified pictures of plants animal fruits, various birds, vehicles and the flags of countries. Literally amazed by the skills of Sara Haany, the “UTV” channel and “JM MEDIA”  came up and telecasted her in news on 2020.02.08 and 2020.02.12 respectively. She was also on the “THINAHARAN” Newspaper on 2020.02.16.

At 2 years Sara was able to do more.  She identified most parts of the human body like a grown up child. She also knew the provinces of Sri Lanka, Important countries of the world, continents with their fortes for example Kangaroo for Australia etc. She could also easily identify various simple apparatus and equipment like a thermometer, a barometer, a rain gauge, a wind vane and an anemometer and recognizing the planets in the solar system was also not a challenging task for this genius child. Thereby, She was telecasted on “ITN” channel “ATAPATTAMA'' program in 2020.09.23 and was on “DAILY MIRROR” in 2020.12.01

At two years and seven months,  Sara’s mental growth appeared to be very fast. She moved a step forward and learned higher levels of skills. When her mother gave her two pictures and when there was a difference in one of them, she unmistakably identified it. She could also identify most of the colours and even when there was a difference in the shade of a particular colour, she identified that as well. She was well versed in basic mathematical concepts such as length, size, quantity and many more. When she was  2 years and 7 months she was also in the process of learning number concepts, letters, small words and she was even trying to construct short sentences by placing pre-prepared sets of words in their correct places.

There are children in the world, indisputably there have been many cases, who have shown extreme interest only towards learning which is related to mental health. The difference in Sara is that she also shines in physical activities.  She got on and sat on the swing herself when she was only twelve months old. she was able to walk on a plank or a garden wall which was just the size of her foot, balancing herself remarkably well.

She is equally careful about her self-security and has an extraordinary level of patience  from a very early age. She has an innate sense of care for herself and she is conscious about the environment around her.

Of course Sara is an extraordinary child and there’s no doubt about it,  however   Sara’s Parents' participation in her growth as an exceptional child is equally important. They have devoted most of their time to understanding her and to act accordingly. Especially Shifna Haris, the mother’s role in supporting Sara Haany was unique.

Sara Haany’s intelligence and skills have been increasing regularly. When she was given tests related to IQ she never failed to prove her skills and she was well versed in more than 15  Apps which were related to education, Memory, Puzzle, spell matching and many more activities. 

Sara’s area of knowledge is wide at this tender young age. She knows most of the products with their sources. Her detailing of a matters and events is amazing  For example if you ask her about the Camel, it’s easy for her to tell all the details about it one by one with facts such as where it is found, why it is tall, how it is able to retain water within it to use for a long time etc. Sara Haany has a great thirst for learning and seeking knowledge. Whenever she comes across a piece of paper or a picture, she shows an extra preference and fondness towards it. she explicitly shows her readiness towards learning. 

Sara Haany just at the age of 2 years and 10 months participated on an international science based test called “ Genius Cerebrum” and was able to score 89 out of 100.Now that she has completed three years, she is able to read English and she is following a phonic Course at ”PHONICS WORLD”. Most of all she is capable of doing dictations which have 3 or 4 words.

She is following an Abacus course at “UCMAS”  and an Elocution course (IEMS) at “POLYMATH COLLEGE'' .Also she is able to identify the number of objects by counting, when she is given with a group of objects. And remarkably she does mathematical operations like addition and subtraction using small numbers.

When She was given with questions regarding several discrete categories including general questions and IQ questions, she was able to answer them at a recorded time of 59.20 seconds, and as of now she is waiting for the result from the “ASIA BOOK OF RECORDS “ She has completed the diploma in “LEARN AND GROW PRE- SCHOOL. PROGRAM. LEVEL 2” at the age of 3+ (2021 July). As of now Sara is following her pre – School Education at “TRINITY INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI “

She has successfully completed an hour of coding instruction at “PURPLE TUTOP” and she got selected in it with the certificate so  she is looking forward to following the “CODING COURSE” and a “BASIC ROBOTIC COURSE” as well.
