I am Nidhi Shetti, a Punjabi by birth but an amalgamation of various cultures resting within me. DehraDun, a beautiful valley is where I was born and then moving all around India i.e Cambay, Ahmedabad, Mumbai & Pune for my studies, finally got settled in Bangalore after marrying a kannadiga. After completing my B.Tech in Construction Technology from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, I moved on to pursue my Postgraduate in Advanced Construction Management from NICMAR, Pune. Both the institutes well known by their names in the industry offer unique learning in all the subjects related to Construction and Real Estate. Both the institutes made me learn and mature to handle the complexities involved in the construction projects and hence the built environment. All thanks to my great teachers who spent the important part of their lives molding me.

I started my career with Synergy Property Management Services Pvt Ltd, a company that teach you to swim an ocean and bring out your capabilities in the best manner, now known as Colliers International, and then tried my hands on and gained experience of working with Developers, Consultants i.e. tasting waters at every level of the Real Estate Industry working as a PMC, an MEP/Structural Consultant, a client and so on. With about 14 years of experience in the Construction & Real Estate Industry and having handled Project Management (Planning and Coordination) with Colliers International & Cubatic Group of companies, now heading the Operations in RREN, I have delivered various prestigious commercial & high-rise residential projects in the Bengaluru City. With the knowledge and experience that I gained over the years, has made me specialized in Project Operations, Project Cost Control, People Management, Budgeting to name a few.

I am blessed. The experience that I gained by providing services to various sectors of the industry, has given me the confidence to start building up my career and grow towards delivering the best to the clients as an entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur is not easy and it takes all of that within you that you must have accumulated and earned in all those initial years of your life. But yes, as an entrepreneur you truly understand what is life and the profile makes you all the more a better person to handle stress and pressure and of course the learning goes hand in hand.

In 2016, me and my husband co-founded EQUAIN Estates Pvt Ltd, a real estate development company focusing into Green & sustainable Real Estate development that now offers various services into real estate and helps the owners/buyers to make a wise decision. We offer unique services under property management, green building consultation, project management and advisory. Coming from a middle-class background and understanding what an owner puts in when it comes to buying a property Equain Estates helps him through his way by providing the genuine advice so that at no given point in time he loses his hope in life and also his hard-earned money.

In 2018, me and my very good old friend, a very intelligent scholar from IIT Kharagpur co-founded RREN Consultancy Pvt Ltd now known as RREN Consultants & Contractors Pvt Ltd, a structural consultancy by heart, this company now offers expert services in Structural Consultancy and provides Turnkey solutions in Structural Strengthening/Retrofitting and Rapid Construction.

I would like to add that, RREN offers expert Structural Design services for all kinds & scales of buildings/projects. In addition to the real estate, Industrial & Commercial projects, we have expertise in handling Hospitals, Schools, Hotels and any other complex structures. We are also handling quite a few projects under the 3D precast technology with an Australian Client as his back-end office for producing detailed design drawings and shop drawings for them. We have our strong built-in team of structural Designers and Technocrats who thrive to deliver the project on time and within the budgeted cost. We are at present executing 8 million Sq Ft under the Structural Consultancy wing.

I also feel happy to tell you that RREN also provides Design and Build Solutions in Structural Rehabilitation (Strengthening & Retrofitting) and Rapid Construction using Cold Formed Steel. We used to take up consultancy in restore/rehabilitation & rapid construction earlier and have strong credentials in the same, however, we are now executing many projects both in residential & commercial segments using rapid construction. Rapid technology uses factory made galvanized steel sections that provides more durability and strength to a structure. RREN, being into structural design for the last 2+ decades, is now designing as well as executing with this technology, thus passing the benefit of optimization that comes with the design expertise of RREN, directly to the client.

Under Structural Rehabilitation RREN offers end to end solutions based on mathematics and choice of good material with detailed method statements. Our expertise is in polymer grouting, crack treatment & control, vibration analysis, retrofitting using CFRP wrapping, steel building connection issues, control of rust in steel buildings, distressed elements or structures, treating seepage/leakage, water proofing, anchor fastening, Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), Technical Due Diligence (TDD) etc and are presently handling and have completed around 10 Msqft of projects under this category.

With more than 2 decades of experience of the founders, both EQUAIN and RREN strongly believe in providing the best optimized solution to the client and hence also saving the national resources.

Being a very hard-working girl, I am very passionate and try to give 100% to my work and personal life. I am a strong believer that luck comes when we put our 100% to that work and live up to achieving the same. I have come a long way and will go a long way with no looking back.

I would like to further add that my personal and professional life both reflect my compassionate nature and character of giving back to society. Being a strong follower of being human, I believe that humanity should be put first in every phase and point of decision making. I used to help the needy whenever I used to get to in my earlier part of life however used to always work towards making this help and support to those in need a part of my life. People say the pandemic devastated but I would say the pandemic brought a new hope and challenged the way we live, the way we think, all bringing it to zero. It was last year during the start of the pandemic that I got this opportunity and started serving the needy in a very big way and started to help all those who were suffering with the tight hold of time. That was the time when I started to think about building up my own NGO “Share En Care”, it is still a provision of life in making.

We have taken up the following activities under Share In Care over the last 1.5 year:

Started off with donating ration to the staff of our Society. (Housekeeping staff, Security guards etc)

Expanded it to large scale by distributing Ration to the Labour camps to about 600 labourers

During the Pandemic Migrant Labour crisis, we provided food packets to about 15000 labourers.

Home made food packets were supplied to the Nearby Govt Hospitals every week for almost 3 months for all the Doctors, Nurses, Staff, and the Covid Patients.

As the Pandemic after effect spread to the Orphanages, Old age homes etc creating shortage of food, medicines due to non-availability of funds. We then got into raising funds for these organizations to aid their daily operations.

Further after the 2nd we tied up with Nayonika Eyecare Charitable Trust which is a Govt recognized NPO in serving the larger community by raising funds for the Oxygen Ventilators etc. that were supplied to a number of hospitals all across Bangalore.

We have now extended our service towards Nature & the Animals too.

I feel blessed and so proud today to receive the Distinguished Leadership award backed by “Women Icon powered by Times Women”, this is truly an appreciation of a woman’s leadership towards a better future. This certainly motivates me to have a larger vision and try to achieve every milestone and give back to the society in every way possible.
