As a young inspiring influencer in the corporate sector and a leading media personality, Gayesha Vidushini Sadees Kumar has come along a long journey in her short career span gaining many accolades and achievements, while taking giant leaps in the world of business with new ventures. 

Gayesha embarked on her professional career six years ago with Aitken Spence PLC as a young executive, before joining Dwellings Group, Australia and Sri Lanka. Despite her age, she has been able to climb up the corporate ladder with her experience, expertise, potential, and achievements in her blooming career, and entrusted with many responsibilities at Dwellings. Identifying her skills and talents, Dwellings Group never hesitated in promoting her to be the youngest manager of Business Development, at the age of 22. Gayesha has also participated in many international forums in several countries, including Singapore, Australia and Sweden representing Dwellings Group to improve her knowledge and network, and introduce new trends and innovations to expand the business capacities. 

Studied at Lyceum International Wattala, Gayesha was known as a popular student and an all-rounder, who keenly engaged in co-curricular and extracurricular activities at school. Excelling in sporting activities, she represented her school in various national and international level tournaments and gained many awards and honours, especially in Athletics and Badminton. As the youngest member of her family, Gayesha makes sure to spend quality time with her parents and brother, who have been a great strength in her professional career and continues to support throughout the journey to accomplish her life’s aspirations. Her passion for dancing and western music since her younger days has always remained as a source of great pleasure in her life, as well as a tool of strength to keep her focus in the pursuit to achieve her ambitions and aspirations.

Her interest in playing the piano always brought a sense of wholesomeness which bridged her professional and personal spheres, yet apart to maintain the balance in life. Though she has a busy schedule between her duties and responsibilities, she always finds the time to pack her bags and hit the road to travel across many destinations in and out of the country, exploring the wonders and life-changing experiences. She is also a social media influencer, sharing each moment she captures during her many journeys and inspiring her followers with her expertise on the real estate and mass media industries. 

Gayesha is known as an avid learner and always prioritized her education, along with her professional career. Following her schooling days, she pursued a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Business & Management from University of Salford, United Kingdom. She has also obtained the Chartered Institute of Managements Accountants (CIMA), United Kingdom Certificate to further her ambitions as a budding professional in the field of business. Presently, she is pursuing a Master in Business Administration from University of West London.

Realizing her childhood dream of becoming a compère and a presenter, she became a part of Sri Lanka Rupavahini family as an English News Anchor and a presenter for Channel Eye’s Morning Variety Show, “Rise & Shine”. At the National Television, she also became the host of a magazine programme, "Diplomatic Faces”, a discussion series held with foreign envoys based in Sri Lanka on diplomatic relations and world affairs. In recognition of her talents, she gained the opportunity to compère at Presidential and main State events in both English and Tamil languages, as one of the few bilingual presenters in the country, at present. Among her many achievements in her media career, Gayesha has been nominated as "Best Television Presenter - English" in the years 2017 and 2018. 

As a successful media personality and a young corporate leader, she has continued to share her knowledge with the younger generation and conducted many training and career development programmes, and she has been a judge in many media competitions and contests, especially in all-island school levels. In an effort to empower the women and youth in the country, she has also conducted motivational speaking and life coaching programmes across the country. With a successful professional career in the corporate sector, and her experience and expertise in the field of media, she has now embarked on a new business venture as a blooming entrepreneur with “Vidu Productions”, her own production house, which focuses on videography, photography and event management.

Since her childhood days, she has been determined to pursue her aspirations and desires throughout her corporate journey and inspire generations of women and youth in the country as a popular media personality and a budding entrepreneur. Her unerring ambitions with a strong personality to break through the obstacles before her, has empowered in taking strides to achieve greater accomplishments at a young age. Her extraordinarily motivated attitude, driven to go above and beyond, was recognized with "Youth Excellence Award" by “Women Icon” International Organization, in association with Times Women and World Women Council, as an acknowledgement for her achievements in the corporate, media and business sectors. Gayesha aspires to continue her journey as a young businesswoman, an entrepreneur and a renowned media personality, to reach her fullest potential with the years to come and become an inspiration to the future generation.
