Founded in 2013, the first commercial waxing salon to open in Sri Lanka. At BeWAXed we take pride in providing our clients with a superior waxing service. We pride ourselves on the experience we give our clients. Our authentic waxing technique, relaxing atmosphere, and our friendly staff provide the ultimate waxing experience that keeps clients coming back. Our staff have grown with us over the last few years and have mastered the art of waxing. 

We believe in providing high customer satisfaction by rendering excellent service, quality products, and furnishing an enjoyable atmosphere at an acceptable price/value relationship. We also maintain a friendly, fair, and creative work environment, which respects diversity, ideas, and hard work.

Founder and Director Durga Srivastava, is a wife and mother of two, with a background in beauty therapy, having trained in Sri Lanka, Singapore and Italy. She decided to launch BeWAXed along with her business partner and husband Marcus Kenny, as a response to the growing need for an establishment dedicated to hair removal. “Waxing should not simply be an add on ‘service at a regular salon or spa. Sri Lanka needed a place which would focus and specialize in proper waxing methods.

Having opened the first branch of BEWAXED, Colombo in February 2013. Less than a year later the second branch was opened in another location within Colombo.  We currently have eight branches in Sri Lanka and one in the Maldives. Plans are underway to open our next international outlet in Bangalore, India in 2022.

BEWAXED has created a large client following through hard work and dedication. Durga, and her talented team of beauticians, has what it takes to make this venture an extremely successful one. We expect our growing reputation to lead to new clients and beauticians to support our anticipated growth.

Hair removal: Full body waxing both strip and stripless and threading

Skin care: Full body exfoliation (includes body scrub and steam), Body Packs, Vajacial, Booty Facial, Nail Services & Aromatherapy Massage

After Care Products: BeWAXed Launched “Goddess Cosmetics” a pre and post care take home product range in 2019 with a range of products that benefited and complimented the clients waxing routine. (No Bumps ingrown spray, After Care Lotion, Body Wash, Fem Wash, Body Scrub, Intimate Care Cream, Face Mist)  

Goddess Cosmetics Private Limited takes pride in locally manufacturing a wide range of natural waxes as well as a range of pre and post care products that can be used before and after waxing or shaving.
