I am Salmiah Abu Bakar from Malaysia. A 28tyears old woman and the third of 5 children. I pursued my studies at University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in the Executive Program: Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Human Resources. In 2012, I began my career as a General Manager in an organization called as Khalifah Mentari SDN BHD which operates as an Islamic Preschool Education. While working there, I managed to develop three branches of the preschool under the management of various areas in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. I firmly believe that education is the key to success. Hence, I continued my studies in Masters of Entrepreneurship as a part time student to enhance my knowledge and entrepreneurial skills while working as General Manager. Although I encountered various difficulties, I managed to complete my Master studies with 3.802 CGPA. In 2018, I started to have interest in writing, so, I opened an Instagram page and posted quotes related to life situations. As days go by, the hobby turns into passion, when I am truly aware that words of encouragement and positivity could light up someone’s day. 

Once a wise man said “Words, they have the power to build people up, confine people to where they are, and break people down”. I discern writing has been a therapy for me. Whether the experience is positive or negative, good or bad, I inscribed it positively so that the words that I produced can motivate the audience to keep going with whatever life battle they are confronting until they attain their goals. So, the Itsquotesforlife, decided to spread as many words of encouragement that I can, just to encourage people to live their life to the fullest. Not everyone will have that one person to seek support, advice or motivation when they’re feeling down, so by putting it in black and white, I believe that the quotes could comfort, motivate and encourage someone to step forth. Life is indeed full of hardships, uncertainties, and challenges. No one in this world has lived a perfect life. Sometimes everything seems to be alright, sometimes not. But, no matter how hard life pushes us, we will naturally step forth. However, without motivation, it is hard to do so. The words of encouragement that are written in the book are based on the experiences that have diversely influenced all the authors of this book.  As an author, I firmly believe that words have the energy and power to build someone up from nothing, to reach the pinnacle of his or her success. 

To share a tad bit of my organization, Itsquotesforlife started its journey on Instagram in 2018 by posting life related quotes. I built a team and researched the audience’s interest and produced quotes accordingly. Day by day, my team and I discern our words to reach a wider audience. From just 20 followers, now with God’s grace, we have obtained 10k followers worldwide.

In conjunction with that, we established an organization named as Itsquotesforlife Enterprise with an intention to put our words in black and white.  With that, on 30th October 2021, we launched our ITSQUOTESFORLIFE- VOLUME I book.  I hope the quotes written in book will ignite a spark within every reader to live their life as dreamed without despair and will be the motivating force for people in going through the obstacles of life.
