Hansani Bandara has bagged Young Woman Leadership Award

Hansani Bandara is an accomplished professional leader with over 6 years of managerial experience in various industries. Her journey started in an executive position as a social media strategist at a reputed Sri Lankan organization in the IT industry at the young age of 24. The journey led her through ups and downs where she achieved her desired role in life as a leader of a middle scale organization.

One of the greatest achievements in Hansani’s life so far is being recognized by “Women Icon powered by Times Women '' in the category women leadership award. It is a pleasure and a moment of pride in her life and she is very thankful for the opportunity provided by the organizers of the women icon award program.

Hansani studied in a well-recognized school in Sri Lanka – Mahamaya College Kandy. After completing her school life  she entered the world of IT by pursuing an IT degree. However, the path led to a different direction when Hansani realized that her true skills and desires lie in a different path. She was inspired by the marketing and administrational field and she moved to the most ideal field at the time which combined IT and marketing- Digital marketing. That beginning put her on the right track and opened doors for many opportunities which ultimately led her to the current esteemed individual she has become.  

Skills she developed in marketing and the attributes which were instilled in her paved her path to be an operations manager in a middle scale organization.

Hansani is currently the operations manager at Voigue Pvt Ltd. She heads the entire operations including Sales, marketing, HR, administration and accounts in this organization in a successful manner. Currently the team she handles consists of 50 employees and the second level after Hansani consists of a team of 5 middle-level managers.

Voigue was formed in the year 2017 and has come a long way within a short period of time, to become a well-established, middle scale organization with a service offering face in Australia and the UK, and a service provisioning face in Sri Lanka. From the beginning, Hansani was a part of the organization and established many efficient strategies for the growth of the company. Coming a long way gave team Voigue, including Hansani, the experience and exposure that was required to stay in touch with businesses across Australia and around the world. The goal has always been to understand the company, its challenges and provide solutions to overcome such obstacles.

Whilst predominantly managing the operation of Voigue Hansani is currently building her own brand Class up which provides coaching to young Sri Lankan females on personal development, personal styling and personal branding. The purpose of this company is to help and guide Sri Lankan females to bring out better versions of themselves.

In addition, Hansani holds the memberships of many reputed Sri Lankan organizations that add value to herself by enriching her knowledge. These memberships support her to keep her knowledge up to date and provide the opportunity to learn from popular leadership roles in Sri Lanka.
